誰もが胸に秘める、公園の記憶

誰もが、公園で遊んだ懐かしい記憶を持っているのではないでしょうか。 自分のお気に入りの公園。

ちょっぴりいじめられて泣いた公園。悲しい気持ちで一人訪れた夜の公園。あるいは、張り詰めた心がふっとほどけた、あの公園で飲んだ温かいミルクティーの記憶。

セヴラックは、こうした何気ない日常の一コマを、驚くほど単純なメロディーで綴っています。そして、その極めて単純な旋律だからこそ、私たちの胸の奥深くを静かに、しかし強く打つ瞬間があるのです。

フォルテピアノを選択する「確固たる意志」

私はこの1825年製のフォルテピアノと共に、そうした人々の心の移り変わる様を描き出したいと強く願いました。

単純な旋律を、なんとも味わい深く響かせること。現代のピアノには存在しないペダリングによって、音の陰影と奥行きを深めること。これらは、この時代のこの楽器だからこそ可能な、他のピアノでは決して到達できない表現です。

フォルテピアノを弾くのは、決して単なる懐古趣味ではありません。

そこには、作曲家の描いた世界と楽器の真実を一致させるという「確固たる意志と音楽のマッチング」が存在します。

さりげなく流れていく音の連なりが、今この瞬間、皆様の心に何らかの深い意味をもたらすことができるよう、静かに祈りを込めて演奏しました。

Hello everyone, this is Megumi Tanno. Today, I share with you a pure performance without spoken words, bringing you Déodat de Séverac’s “Ronde dans un parc” (Round Dance in a Park) from his suite En Vacances, played on an original 1825 fortepiano.

The Nostalgic Memories of the Park We All Share

Everyone holds nostalgic memories of playing in a park. It could be your favorite park, a park where you were teased a little, or a park you visited with a heavy heart alone at night. Or perhaps, it is the memory of drinking warm milk tea in a park, feeling your tangled heart finally unravel.

Séverac weaves these everyday, fleeting moments into an incredibly simple melody. Yet, it is precisely because of this profound simplicity that the music strikes such a deep chord in our hearts.

The “Firm Resolve” to Play the Fortepiano

Together with this 1825 fortepiano, I wanted to depict these subtle, shifting emotions.

Giving deep flavor to a simple melody, and creating a profound depth through pedaling that simply does not exist on modern instruments—these are expressions impossible to achieve on any other piano.

For me, playing the fortepiano is never a mere fashion or a nostalgic trend. It is born from a “firm resolve and a perfect matching of the music,” ensuring the composer’s true voice is heard exactly as intended.

As the notes flow by effortlessly, I pray that in this very moment, this sound brings some deep meaning to your heart. Please listen while superimposing your own nostalgic memories of the park onto the music.
