【新シリーズ開幕】永遠の春を歌う。シューベルト『ロンド イ長調』と1830年製フォルテピアノの対話

3月に日比谷のベヒシュタイン・セントラム東京ザールで収録を行なった、ミヒャエル・ツァルカ教授との新プロジェクト。

いよいよ本日から、新シリーズ【ファンタジーとダンスが交差する「シューベルトの森」】の配信がスタートいたしました！

第1弾として皆様にお届けするのは、シューベルト作曲「ロンド イ長調 D.951」の四手連弾です。

今回私たちが演奏に使用しているのは、モダンピアノではなく、1830年にウィーンで製作されたローゼンベルガーのオリジナル・フォルテピアノです。

6オクターブ半という、ウィーン手工業の黄金期のコンパス（音域）を持った、非常に美しく貴重な楽器です。

 

この『ロンド イ長調』は、シューベルトがこの世を去った1828年、まさに最晩年に作曲されました。しかし、この曲の中に死への恐れや焦りは微塵もありません。

動画のトーク部分でもお話ししているのですが、この曲は「永遠に繰り返される春」を歌っています。
私たち人間が自然の大きな摂理の中にあり、たとえ自分がこの世を去ったとしても、変わらずに巡り来る春の美しさ。
曲の終盤でミヒャエルさんが堂々とテーマを歌い上げる時、そこには一人一人の人生が持つ「人間の尊厳（ディグニティ）」が深く込められているのを実感します。

 

四手連弾（カトルマン）という、息を合わせて紡ぐ2人の対話。
そして、木の温かみを持つフォルテピアノとの対話。

そこから生まれる良いエネルギーや波動が、画面を越えて、演奏に耳を傾けてくださる皆様との対話に繋がっていくことを心から願っています。
ぜひ、シューベルトが残した大いなる光に、ゆっくりと耳を澄ませてみてください。

[New Series] Singing of Eternal Spring: Schubert’s “Rondo in A Major” and the Dialogue with an 1830 Fortepiano

Hello everyone, I am Megumi Tanno.

I am thrilled to announce that our new series, Forest of Dreams: Fantasies and Dances by Franz Schubert, has officially begun! This project was recorded in March with Professor Michael Tsalka at the C. Bechstein Centrum Tokyo Saal.

For our first episode, we are sharing Schubert’s “Rondo in A Major, D. 951” for piano four hands.
Instead of a modern piano, we performed this piece on an original 1830 fortepiano crafted by Rosenberger in Vienna. It is a breathtakingly beautiful instrument with a compass of six and a half octaves, representing the golden age of Viennese craftsmanship.

 

Schubert composed this Rondo in 1828, the very year he passed away. Yet, you will find no fear or anxiety in this music.

As I mention in the talk segment of the video, this piece is singing about a spring that repeats eternally. It depicts how we humans exist within the cycle of nature, and the beauty of a spring that returns eternally, even after we are gone.
When Michael returns to the theme at the end, singing it out with such majesty, you can truly feel the “human dignity” residing in each of our lives.

The dialogue with the warm, wooden resonance of this historical fortepiano.

We hope that the good vibrations and positive energy born from these dialogues will reach you and become a conversation with everyone who listens to our performance.
