2026年4月、ヨーロッパ全体が深い静寂に包まれる受難週（聖金曜日・聖土曜日）に、オランダの2つの歴史的な教会にて、特別なコンサートに出演いたします。

演奏されるのは、J.ハイドンの深淵なる傑作『十字架上のキリストの最後の7つの言葉』（鍵盤楽器版）です。
1785年頃、スペイン・カディスの教会の依頼で作曲されたこの作品は、キリストが十字架上で発したとされる7つの言葉を主題にした、圧倒的な精神性を持つ瞑想曲として知られています。

今回の公演の特筆すべき点は、その極めて親密で純度の高いアンサンブルの形にあります。
演奏には、オランダ・ベルヘンを拠点とする優れたピアノ修復家、Gijs Wilderom氏の入念な修復を経たフォルテピアノが使用されます。そして、その歴史的な楽器が紡ぐ研ぎ澄まされた音の狭間に、同じくベルヘンで活動する気鋭の作家、Pamela Koevoets氏による深い語りが交差します。

音と声、そして沈黙。

In April 2026, during the profound stillness of Holy Week (Good Friday and Holy Saturday), Megumi Tanno will perform a series of special concerts in two historical churches in the Netherlands.

The program features Joseph Haydn’s profound masterpiece, “The Seven Last Words of Christ” (keyboard version). Originally commissioned around 1785 by a church in Cádiz, Spain, this work is a deeply spiritual and meditative journey based on the final phrases spoken by Jesus on the cross.

What makes these performances truly exceptional is their pure and intimate nature.
Megumi will play a fortepiano meticulously restored by the esteemed Bergen-based piano restorer, Gijs Wilderom. The pure resonance of this historical instrument will be delicately interwoven with the spoken word of Bergen writer Pamela Koevoets.

■Aankondiging Bijzonder Concert: Een Ontmoeting van Stilte en Gebed – Haydns “De zeven laatste woorden van Jezus”

■ In april 2026, tijdens de diepe en bezinnende stilte van de Goede Week (Goede Vrijdag en Stille Zaterdag), zal de Japanse pianiste Megumi Tanno optreden in twee historische kerken in Nederland voor een zeer speciale reeks concerten.

Op het programma staat het diepgaande meesterwerk van Joseph Haydn, “De zeven laatste woorden van Jezus” (in een bewerking voor toetsinstrumenten). Oorspronkelijk gecomponeerd rond 1785 in opdracht van een kerk in Cádiz, Spanje, is dit werk een intens spirituele en meditatieve muzikale reis, gebaseerd op de laatste kruiswoorden van Jezus.

Wat deze uitvoeringen extra bijzonder maakt, is de uiterst intieme en zuivere vorm van het ensemble.
Megumi zal een fortepiano bespelen die zorgvuldig is gerestaureerd door de in Bergen gevestigde pianorestaurator Gijs Wilderom. De zuivere klank van dit historische instrument zal subtiel worden verweven met de verhalen en voordracht van de Bergense schrijfster Pamela Koevoets.

Wanneer klank, stem en stilte samensmelten in de ruimtes van deze historische kerken, ontstaat er een “heiligdom voor de ziel” dat de traditionele concertervaring ver overstijgt.
